Typographic maps – maps built entirely from the written word -seem to be ten a penny these days.
Taylor Hayward’s clever spin on the idea is to use individual characters in a world map constructed from the alphabet each country uses. Described as a labor of love the map comprises 10,000 characters in 25 fonts, and apparently took about 100 hours to put together – Wow!
