You’ve heard of California’s Silicon valley, but what about London’s Silicon Roundabout? The term was coined back in 2008 by Matt Bidduloph. CTO of Dopplr.com, to describe the large cluster of Internet, Technology and Media start-ups around the Old Street roundabout in London’s East End.
Since then many of the original companies have moved on or been taken over. Trying to keep up with this rapid development, Media Week revisited the area and have released an up to date map of the dozens of businesses currently located there.
