Global cities of the future from MckinseyThe McKinsey Quarterly examines the demographics and growth patterns of the 600 urban areas predicted to account for the majority of global GDP by 2025. Discussing whether growth strategies would be better focused on these cities rather than countries.

The feature includes an impressive interactive 3D map, which you can toggle between a globe view and tiltable 2D.  Interact with the map by hovering over cities for current and future populations and GDP, and filter information by various metrics such as numbers of elderly and average household income.

As I’m sure you already know – the future involves a massive shift in pretty much everything towards developing nations.
